The engine of Yamaha FZ will be a 150cc air cooled unit but tuned for low and mid range torque than top end rush, so expect this to be an effortless performer. The model displayed at Auto Expo 2008 was a prototype, but it expected that when it will be launched it will look more or less the same.

Yamaha is planning to launch it in october 2008 and it is expected to be priced around 80000-85000 rupees

Apart from the Digital Speedometer and the Petal shaped disc brakes which are “new” additions on the RTR Apache 160, there isn’t much change in the looks compared to the Apache 160 non-fi. The rear is also same with LED tail lamps, re-styled silencer and CBZ X-treme type split grab rail.
